Tasked with creating a vibrant and bright factory atmosphere to display future conceptual technology, the final look became a marriage of realistic CG lighting and rendering with Toon shading techniques and volumetric lighting.
The design process became a very interesting one that went through a multitude of changes in both art direction and style, leading to a series of interesting work in progress examples highlighting the creative process from initial concept to final execution.
